Introduction
The 2025 Global Alpha Strategies Summit (GASS 2025), organized by the Global Alpha Strategies Council (GASC), is the world’s first large-scale initiative to combine AI-driven alpha strategy research with an international financial competition.
Teams from United States, China, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Turkey, Canada, India, Germany, Australia, and Brazil each receive USD 10 million official seed capital to compete in a six-month yield challenge, targeting innovation, responsible investing, and global financial excellence.
This event promotes cross-border capital market innovation, fosters AI applications in investment decision-making, and builds a platform for international cooperation while emphasizing sustainability and social contribution as core dimensions of success.
Competition Rules
Team Registration
- National representative institutions are selected through official nomination. Each team must appoint a recognized financial strategist with proven leadership and international experience as the team leader.
Team Leader Qualification
- Demonstrated expertise in investment strategy design and risk-adjusted portfolio optimization.
- Strong ability to integrate AI and quantitative models into financial decision-making.
- Leadership skills to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across trading, compliance, and technology.
Team Responsibilities
- Deploy the USD 10 million capital using innovative investment frameworks.
- Report progress regularly under GASC evaluation standards (Alpha returns, risk-adjusted performance, innovation, and social contribution).
- Ensure compliance with international regulatory standards (KYC, AML, ESG).
- Deliver measurable outcomes in both financial performance and national development contribution.
